Schools in the 25^th Assembly District Eligible for Grants

Madison: School districts within the 25^th assembly district are eligible to apply for Technology for Educational Achievement (TEACH) Information Technology Infrastructure grants. Governor Walker announced the availability of $15 million for these grants today, to help districts build and modernize their technology infrastructure system using necessary equipment and services.

“Integrating technology into the classroom is crucial to prepare Wisconsin students for their future and maintain their competitiveness as they get ready for college or the workforce,” said Rep. Tittl (R-Manitowoc). “These grants will revolutionize and revitalize rural schools by upgrading classroom technology and improving the learning experience for students.”

The Department of Administration (DOA) is currently accepting applications from eligible school districts for TEACH Information Technology Infrastructure grants. Eligible local school districts include Chilton, Hilbert, Reedsville, and Valders. 

“The 2017-2019 state budget solidified historic levels of aid for K-12 education. The administration of these grants will further the legislature’s efforts to provide the best educational opportunities for each child in Wisconsin, regardless of their location,” Rep. Tittl said.

Application materials and additional information on the TEACH Information Technology Infrastructure grants can be found on the TEACH website. Eligible school districts should submit their grants to the DOA by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 to be considered.
