Volume 1 Issue 24

State Representative Janel Brandtjen:

Wisconsin's Jobs Numbers Looking Real Good:

The difference between living and being alive can sometimes mean more than waking up in the morning.  The early numbers suggests that Wisconsin added over 15,000 jobs in October. For those who went from looking for work to landing one of those jobs,Thanksgiving will mean so much more than turkey, stuffing and football. The ability to wake up in the morning with a purpose is something that too many take for granted. Happy Thanksgiving.....See the report

Senate Bill 227:

The Wisconsin State legislature has passed Senate Bill 227 which exempts sales tax on building materials used for local government or non-profit organizations. I believe that this measure will help to create even more jobs in Wisconsin by lowering the cost of construction projects. I'd like to see even more tax exemptions on building materials in the future. Let's keeping our momentum going!  See the Bill.

Thankful For The First Amendment:

Free speech is fundamental to our freedom. That statement is as old as it is popular. However free speech is under constant attack, so much so that I believe many people are afraid to exercise it. Your right to free speech can be limited by those who would use the power of intimidation to quiet your voice. College campuses once the beacon of free speech have no more use for it. College professors and students can be run off campus for a simple dissenting point of view. Businesses are boycotted for adherence to a religious holiday or if an employee donated to the wrong campaign. It is time to stand up to the bullies and protect your right to free speech.

God Bless Wisconsin!
