Draw Your District, Wisconsin!

The Assembly and Senate will pass legislation in the coming months that will include new district maps for Congressional, State Senate, and State Assembly seats to be used for the next decade based on 2020 Census data. The Draw Your District Wisconsin website has been created to allow Wisconsinites to learn about the redistricting process and, if interested, submit maps to the Legislature for our consideration. Maps may be submitted to the Legislature from September 1, 2021 through October 15, 2021. Click on the above image to watch a video about the upcoming redistricting process.

Every ten years, once the Legislature receives the most recent Census data from the federal government, the Legislature is responsible to draw new district boundaries adjusting to the updated population changes. You can participate too!

Visit DrawYourDistrictWisconsin.com. There are three free web-based redistricting tools to choose from. Create a full statewide map, regional plan, or draw a community you think shares a common interest. Make sure each district is compact and one connecting piece. You want each district to be about the same population size.
