Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and though it may look and feel a little different for all of us, I hope you are finding a way to celebrate. I wish all of you a harvest of blessings this season. Happy Thanksgiving!!
Mental Health Resources
Being away from friends and family during the holidays can be hard, and it can be easy to feel alone this time of year. If you or someone you know needs help, here are some resources to keep in mind:
Milwaukee County Crisis Line: Call (414) 257-7222
Wisconsin HOPELINE Text Service: Text HOPELINE to 741-741
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: Call 1 (800) 273-8255
Each year on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, Americans across the country support their local economy by shopping small during one of the busiest shopping seasons of the year. Small businesses make up 99.4% of Wisconsin businesses and employ 1.3 million Wisconsinites. Make a plan to shop local safely this weekend, and please remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Many local businesses are willing to make accommodations for you to shop online or pre-order something and pick it up curbside. Contact the businesses you love to see how you can support them this year!
