As the holidays are quickly approaching, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you in the 21st Assembly District a Merry Christmas.

This is my favorite time of year in the state Capitol, and you can feel the Christmas spirit all around. This year we have a 40 foot balsam fir Christmas tree decorated with handmade ornaments by students from around the state.

Christmas is also the perfect opportunity to spend time with your family and friends, and explore all of the exciting holiday activities happening in the district, or take time to volunteer with your favorite local non-profit.

This is also the time to reflect on the past year. I’m thankful for my family and all of the opportunities this year has brought. I can’t wait to see what next year has in store!
