The Week in Review
Construction
on Ryan Road Set to Begin
This week, you may have noticed orange
barrels going up along Ryan Road as the Wisc onsin Department
of Transportation began reconstruction of the Ryan Road interchange on I-94
in Oak Creek. The project includes reconstructing the overpass bridge.
During construction, drivers can expect single lanes along the bridge going
eastbound and westbound. Also, the Ryan Road Park and Ride will close in
early December. All ramps are expected to remain open with only temporary
closures to match the changing road configuration.
According to DOT, construction began on Wednesday, October 25 and is
scheduled to conclude in fall 2018. The completion date could change
depending on weather conditions over the next year.
