Application Now Available: Pandemic Unemployment Assistance
Earlier this week the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) opened up the application process for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA). This option is available because of funds set aside by the federal government in the federal CARES Act. If you believe you may qualify and would like to apply for PUA, you may start your application here. Just like with Regular Unemployment Insurance (UI), applicants are encouraged to apply online. Approximately 99% of UI claims are completed online. Consult the graphic below to determine if this benefit might be available to you, or visit the DWD website for more information.
