Investing in Higher Education

Hello, I’m state Representative Jessie Rodriguez.
 
Wisconsin has some of the best colleges in the country. From our four-year universities to two-year tech colleges, each one provides Wisconsin residents with unique opportunities to find a career that fits their interest.

To address this important need, we gave $15 million dollars in funding to the UW System and included new incentives based on performance. The budget also included another two year tuition freeze, additional funding for our tech colleges, and increased investments of more than $12 million dollars in worker training programs.

With our continued investment and focus on higher education, we are making sure every student will have the resources available to pursue their dreams after high school.
