Rep. Goyke Legislation Helping Veterans Advances In Senate
I am proud to report that the Senate Agriculture Committee held a public hearing on June 28th for testimony in support of Senate Bill 224 - The Wisconsin Veterans Farm Bill of 2017.
Previously approved by committee in the Assembly, The Wisconsin Veterans Farm Bill of 2017, creates the Veteran Farmer Assistance and Outreach Program within our state's Department of Agriculture and also creates a logotype issued by the State for certified veteran-owned farms and products.

Rep. Goyke to Stop Neglectful Landlord Games On July 19th I served on a legislative panel with Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch and staff from the Offices of US Senator Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson where I provided legislative updates and discussed the legislation I am working on to prevent neglectful landlords from continuing to buy foreclosed properties at Sheriff sale. Stay tuned as I continue to work on legislation that makes changes to how we sell property at Sheriff sale. The cycle of tax-delinquent individuals purchasing property at Sheriff sale and not maintaining those properties nor paying taxes needs to end. It is my intention to introduce bi-partisan legislation that will put a stop to these bad practices that neglect our beautiful neighborhoods.
