The capitol building is the people's house! We are fortunate to have a capitol building that is open and welcoming to the public.

Free tours are offered daily, except on holidays. Plan your visit with the Wisconsin Tour website or call (608) 266-0832.

While you're in the building, feel free to swing by my office (11N). I love meeting my constituents and hope to see you here!

Blue Book / How a Bill Becomes a Law

The State of Wisconsin Blue Books and How a Bill Becomes a Law resource packets are an excellent resource for learning more about our state government.

To request a copy, please contact my office and share your name and address.

You can also view the Blue Book online here and you can receive a pdf copy of How a Bill Becomes a Law with this link.

Flag Requests

The Assembly Chief Clerk's office has both American and Wisconsin flags available. You can choose to have the flag flown over the capitol for yourself or on behalf of someone and/or a special occasion. Flags flown over the capitol will include a certificate of recognition.

If you are interested, please contact my office.

Legislative Citations and Plaques

An official citation from the state legislature is a wonderful way to recognize an outstanding achievement. The legislature regularly issues citations honoring people who have become Eagle Scouts, received the Girl Scout Gold Award, retired after a long career, proudly served in the Armed Forces, and many other notable accomplishments.

If my schedule permits, I make a point of attending events to which I am invited to present the citation in person. Please contact my office to make your request.

My office welcomes prospective interns that are interested in learning more about government and policy. With this internship, you will have an inside view of the inner workings of state government and gain valuable professional experience on policy, research, constituent services, and office administration.

Many legislative staffers and representatives started their political experience as capitol interns. Personally, my first experience with state government was working as an intern in former Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes' office when he was a state representative. This experience gave me valuable insights that I hope to pay forward with my interns.

If you are interested in working for my office, please reach out to us directly with your resume. You are also encouraged to apply through the Wisconsin Legislative Internship Program and indicate interest in being placed in my office. Applicants from the 14th Assembly District and Milwaukee County are prioritized.
