State Representative Dora Drake was elected in the November 2020 election and entered office this past January. She represents the 11th Assembly District in Wisconsin which includes parts of Milwaukee and Glendale, WI.

She was born and raised in the Graceland neighborhood near Wyrick Park. She was accepted into the Educational Opportunities Program at Marquette University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Social Welfare and Justice in 2015.

Some issues she is passionate about include investing in our youth, economic stability, and re-entry services. Shortly after graduating, she was employed by JusticePoint, a nonprofit organization promoting reforms to the criminal justice system and supporting people through their interactions with the justice system. 

Dora is dedicated to serving the community uniting everyone in hope to rebuild and strengthen communities for the future.
