Homelessness Bill is Now Law This afternoon, Representative Jim Steineke (R-Kaukauna) attended the signing into law of Assembly Bill 119, which provides additional funding for the State Shelter Subsidy Grant program and incentivizes shelters to responsibly transition individuals into permanent housing.

Homelessness Bill Heads to Governor Evers’ Desk Today, the Senate approved Assembly Bill 119, a cornerstone in the Republican-lead “A Hand for the Homeless” legislative package, unanimously. With support from both the Assembly and Senate, the bill now heads to Governor Evers’ desk to be signed into law.
