You had recently reached out to me regarding Covid-19 and the mask mandate.

I want to thank you for taking the time to reach out to my office. As you may know, I voted "no" on repealing the statewide mask mandate. This is an issue that hundreds of constituents had reached out to my office about via phone, email, and letter. All of their voices and messages were taken into consideration.

The assembly voted 53-42 to repeal the mandate, with six other Republicans joining me in opposition. Minutes after it's repeal, Governor Evers enacted another emergency order to replace the one that had been overturned.
