Thank you for subscribing to my legislative e-update! This communication will outline what's happening in the Capitol and highlight my efforts while representing you and the state of Wisconsin. On occasion, I will also profile some of our great Green Bay area people and programs that make our community a better place. I hope you enjoy it!
On The Floor This Week
This week both the Senate and Assembly passed a consumer protection bill (Assembly Bill 3/Senate Bill 3) I authored with Senator Cowles. This bill allows the Department of Transportation (DOT) to more adequately protect Wisconsinites from fraudulent activity in automotive sales. This is common-sense legislation that reforms and simplifies our dealer license revocation system in order to better protect our constituents. I am happy the bill passed both houses with wide, bipartisan support and now it will go to Governor Evers’ desk!
From time to time my newsletter will feature information on an individual, organization or event that located in or benefiting the residents of our area.
Foundations Health & Wholeness is a nonprofit that promotes optimal health by providing mental health counseling and state-wide foster care. Each fall, the organization hosts an Ethics in Business luncheon where they celebrate ethical behavior in following categories: Youth (ages 13-18), Individual, Nonprofit and Business. Foundations recognizes the connection between greater well-being, stronger families, ethical business environments and healthy communities.
