As we continue to navigate through this time I thank you for being an informed constituent of Wisconsin's 4th State Assembly District.
Wisconsin Saves $22 Billion Since 2011
When you elected me as your state representative, I made it my priority to cut taxes and allow Wisconsin taxpayers to keep as much of their paycheck as possible. In recent years, my Republican legislative colleagues and I have worked hard to make this a reality.
A recent memo from the Legislative Fiscal Bureau shows that Wisconsin has saved $22 billion in taxes since 2011. A decade of responsible, thoughtful budgeting by our Republican Legislature made this possible. In addition to the massive tax savings since 2011, the state is projected to have a $3.8 billion budget surplus.
For as long as you allow me to serve as your state representative, I will continue to fight for successes like these so that you can save, spend, and invest more than ever before.
Let’s Get Down to Business
I recently met with the Ashwaubenon Business Association for a very insightful meeting. At this month’s event, Festival Foods CEO Mark Skogen provided an update on several exciting projects he’s involved with, including his recent work with the Green Bay Rockers baseball team and EPIC, Green Bay’s first dedicated concert facility. I was President of the ABA many years ago, and it certainly continues to be a tremendous networking and education platform for Ashwaubenon businesses.
Side note: If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit the Delta by Marriott Hotel on Ramada Way in Green Bay, it is worth the stop. This hotel was completely remodeled, and no detail was overlooked, including a fantastic small group space and special event menu. Check it out!
