Hi, , welcome to my e-update!

As we continue to navigate through this time I thank you for being an informed constituent of Wisconsin's 4th State Assembly District.

Murders ahead of Mothers: Evers gives COVID-19 Vaccine priority to Criminals

Governor Evers' vaccine rollout plan puts otherwise healthy, young prisoners in our state prisons ahead of the rest of us.  I have received dozens of calls and e-mails from residents who are anxious for their life-restoring opportunity to be vaccinated. Sadly and inexplicably, Evers has chosen to put those folks at the end of the line, behind incarcerated, state prisoners. That's why I've introduced AB 145 so that law-abiding members of our society are able to get in line 21-days before convicts. A mother of three should not be behind a murderer of three when it comes to getting this vaccine.

Serving our Men and Women in Blue: Public Safety PTSD Coverage Act

The Public Safety PTSD Coverage Act (AB 17) that I co-sponsored, just passed unanimously out of its assigned Assembly committee and is now on its way to a final floor vote in our chamber. I am looking forward to this bill taking its final steps. With increasing suicide rates for first responders suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, this bill will ensure essential services and compensation coverage for the heroes in our community.
