As we continue to navigate through this time I thank you for being an informed constituent of Wisconsin's 4th State Assembly District.
Preparing for Wisconsin’s Future
Did you know that Wisconsin used to be the 6th-highest ranked state in the country in terms of tax burden on our residents? Well great news, we are now the 19th, which marks the largest rank change in the country! The Republican budget that was passed this year delivers a $975 per-household income tax cut over the next two years. Wisconsin ended last fiscal year with a record $1.7 billion in our rainy-day fund, and a $2.58 billion budget surplus.
All of this means that Wisconsin residents will be able to save, spend, and invest in our state more than ever before. Thanks to fiscally conservative policies and practices, our state has a healthy, pro-business economy. I am proud to be a member of the legislature that delivered some of the largest tax cuts in state history, and I look forward to supporting more outcomes like this in the future!
School Spending Transparency
This week, the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty launched a school scoreboard website that tracks spending, enrollment, and academic proficiency by school district. This is a very helpful tool for parents looking to find information about the schools in our state. To view the scoreboard, visit www.KnowMySchoolWi.com
