Tougher On Crime Bills Pass 

This week, I supported a package of bills to help Wisconsin communities safer. Tougher on Crime package brings more accountability to violent and repeat offenders with the hope of detering future crime. The Assembly floor session included legislation to increase penalties for repeat drunk driving and crimes against the elderly and vulnerable adults. Another bill protects victims of domestic abuse. We also passed legislation to increase the types of crimes for which a juvenile may be put in correctional placement or the Serious Juvenile Offender Program.
