Hi, , welcome to my e-update!

As we continue to navigate through this time I thank you for being an informed constituent of Wisconsin's 4th State Assembly District.

Bart Starr Memorial Bridge Dedicated in Green Bay

This past Saturday I had the honor of welcoming Cherry Starr back to Green Bay for the Bart Starr Memorial Bridge dedication ceremony. Bart Starr truly embodied what it means to be a team player, both on the football field and in the community. It was a pleasure to have Mrs. Starr with us to commemorate this occasion.

Thank you to all those that came out to help us make this event successful!

Honoring Our First Responders

The Wisconsin State Assembly welcomed first responders to the Capitol from across the state this week. I was honored to present the 2021 First Responder Award to the 4th District’s honorees. PSO Prokash, PSO Stover, Lt. Wudtke, PSO Hoffman, and PSO Deterville with the Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department serve their community heroically.

On Saturday, May 1st, 2021 these five officers responded to reports of a shooting suspect in the Duck Creek Restaurant at the Oneida Casino in Ashwaubenon. Their courage in the face of life-threatening events contributed to locating the suspect and providing care to the victim while awaiting transport to the hospital.

It was my honor to have these men and their families come to the Capitol so I could present them with this award. Thank you to all the men and women that serve our community with bravery and distinction.

Protecting the Unborn

This week, the Assembly passed a package of bills that would protect unborn lives, empower women with the information they need when making life-altering reproductive decisions, prohibit discrimination against children in the womb, and stop the flow of taxpayer dollars that are subsidizing Planned Parenthood.

I was proud to cast my vote in favor of these important bills that would educate parents, prevent unborn babies from being discriminated against, and require immediate medical care to children that survive an abortion attempt. Wisconsin has been, and still is, a state that values life.
