Marsy's Law

Marsy's Law
(AJR47) is a proposal to strengthen
Wisconsin's existing protections for crime
victims. This bi-partisan legislation will lead
to a state constitutional amendment and will put
victims' rights on the same footing as the
rights of the accused.
Law
Enforcement Memorial License Plate fundraiser
Last week,
I introduced legislation that will create a
voluntary, private fundraising method for two
non-profits that help the law enforcement
community. Currently, the DOT issues a law
enforcement memorial plate; however, it is the
only charity-related plate that raises no money
for the associated organization. I intend to fix
this problem, and ensure contributions are
possible through the Law Enforcement Memorial
Fund license plate. See a recent Fox 11 report
on my proposal
here.
Wisconsin's business climate is improving!

Wisconsin's
business climate continues to improve according
to Chief Executive magazine. In just seven
years, our state has moved up from being the
41st best state to do business, to the Top Ten.
This is a tremendous improvement over such a
short period of time, and indicates that we are
on the right path with our reforms in Madison.
