Wisconsin's Unemployment rate continues to fall!

The most recent Bureau of Labor statistics indicates that Wisconsin's unemployment rate is the lowest it has been in 16 years! It is my commitment to continue the effort to foster job-creating reforms in Wisconsin.
 

School Visits

Last week I was honored to have school groups from Annie Jackson and Beaumont Elementary Schools visit Capitol. I am always encouraged to see the future leaders of Wisconsin in person!

AB130 allows a municipality to restrict the placement of cell phone towers.

AB110 allows insurance companies based in Wisconsin to sell surplus lines insurance in Wisconsin.

DNR

The DNR would like to remind anglers to be wary of spreading invasive species to insure the health of the Wisconsin Waterways. More information about limiting the spread of invasive species can be found here.

The DNR would also like to remind turkey hunters to practice safe hunting techniques in order to avoid any tragic accidents. More information and some tips on how to hunt safely, can be found here.
