This week was a busy one at the Wisconsin State Capitol! On Tuesday, Vice-President Mike Pence visited for a school choice rally, commemorating the anniversary of school choice, which started right here in Wisconsin. Additionally, numerous committee hearings took place throughout the week in anticipation of floor sessions in the coming weeks. Above, I chair the Campaigns and Elections Committee, which held a public hearing and executive session on various legislation yesterday.
My Visit at Fox Communities Credit Union
Recently, I visited Fox Communities Credit Union in Appleton. I loved hearing about how they go above and behold to truly make a difference in their community! From supporting local non-profits and initiatives, to ensuring that families have fun, affordable events to attend, Fox Communities Credit Union strives to keep Northeastern Wisconsin the fun and enjoyable place it is. Thanks to the staff and members for being so welcoming and for talking with me.

Parental Choice is Great for Wisconsin
It is a fact that it costs less to educate a child in Wisconsin through a choice school versus a traditional public school. Further growth of Wisconsin’s parental choice programs could result in $3.2 billion in new economic benefits to Wisconsin. Of that, Appleton could expect to see $60 million in economic benefits.#SchoolChoiceWeek
USMCA Signed Into Law
This week, President Trump signed the United States-Mexico-Canada-Agreement. This deal is huge for the economic health of Wisconsin’s farmers, manufacturers, and small businesses! I am happy this deal could get done and I am looking forward to the positive benefits this trade deal will have for Wisconsin.
