Family Law Bills Pass the Assembly

During this week's Assembly Floor Session, I voted on several child custody and placement bills which are important to the overall family wellness of children. One bill, Assembly Bill 98, will keep more fathers involved in their children’s lives while allowing judges to keep children’s best interest in mind. Watch my video here or by clicking on the image below to find out more about this legislation!

Free Fishing Weekend January 18-19

Not sure what to do this weekend? Why not go fishing! Fish almost anywhere in Wisconsin without a license or trout stamp on Free Fishing Weekend, which is January 18-19. Most waters of the state are included, except for spring trout ponds.

While balmy winter temps and rain in some parts of the state have compromised ice safety in affected areas, opportunities to bring your friends out for a day of free fishing and winter fun still abound.

My Article Featured in Wisconsin Lawyer

Recently, I wrote an article featured in Wisconsin Lawyer about two bills I authored that were signed into law. The moral of the article is that our legislators in Madison and Washington, D.C., do indeed listen to their constituents and it is possible for the public to have a direct impact in their community, state, and nation. I am proud to work for you, the people of the 3rd Assembly District. My door is always open. I encourage you to contact my office to have your voice heard!
