I am very thankful to the Friends of High Cliff State Park and all the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks groups in Wisconsin for all their hard work to improve our state parks. Check out my latest video to hear about the playground in the works by Friends of High Cliff State Park. Thanks to a generous donation, the playground is one step closer towards reality! Further, I am committed to helping the state parks succeed. That’s why last session, I authored the Parks Revitalization Act, which became Act 71 when it was signed into law. This bill appropriated $4.5 million for critical health and safety projects in our state parks, including High Cliff State Park. I am proud to co-sponsor a similar bill this session. I want to do more for our state parks, and these are big steps in the right direction!

These are the only ways to obtain a valid Wisconsin hunting or fishing license:
If you have any questions about the validity of a website or sense a scam, do not hesitate to reach out to my office for support!

Wisconsin Fully Funds Its Pensions
Wisconsin outranks other states when it comes to pension funding. While national public plan funding averaged 72 percent in 2017, Wisconsin Retirement System reported a market value-based funded ratio of 102.9 percent and an actuarial value-based funded ratio of 100 percent. This was not something that happened by chance, but due to sound management over the last 8 years. Wisconsin has a 103% funded ratio placing it in the #1 spot for being one of the best states to retire from nationwide!
