Gov. Evers' Budget Raises Taxes by Over $1 Billion

As we continue to dissect Governor Evers' 2021-2023 budget, I am appalled to see that Governor Evers wants to raise taxes on Wisconsinites by over $1 billion during the coronavirus pandemic! The last thing we need right now is higher taxes on hardworking Wisconsin families.

My colleagues in the Joint Finance Committee will continue to work hard to assembly a responsible budget that puts hardworking Wisconsin families first to move Wisconsin forward.

Thank You Barry Alvarez

This week, University of Wisconsin-Madison Athletic Director Barry Alvarez announced he will be retiring at the end of June. I am thankful for Barry's leadership in shaping UW athletics to be the competitive and respected organization it is today. On behalf of the 3rd Assembly District and the thousands of UW Madison alumni, thank you.
