Inauguration Day!

On January 7th, I was proud to take the oath of office and be sworn in to represent the 3rd Assembly District in the 104th Wisconsin Legislature. I am blessed and thankful for the opportunity to represent you, my friends and neighbors, again in Madison. I am committed to making life in the 3rd Assembly District, and our great state, better.

This session I will sit on the following seven committees:

  • Committee on Education
  • Committee on Environment
  • Committee on Forestry, Parks and Outdoor Recreation
  • Committee on Insurance
  • Committee on International Affairs and Commerce
  • Committee on Judiciary
  • Committee on Sporting Heritage

I will also serve as Chairman of the Committee on Campaigns and Elections.

Do not hesitate to contact my office anytime with your questions, thoughts, concerns, or ideas. My staff and I are happy to assist you and we look forward to another successful legislative session!

Common Ground With the Governor

Also on January 7th, Tony Evers was sworn in as Wisconsin’s 46th Governor. Although Governor Evers and I are from different parties and do not share many of the same views, I am optimistic about our ability to work together to better the lives of all Wisconsinites. You can watch my Inauguration Day message here, or by clicking on the photo below.

I also signed onto a letter to Governor Evers from Assembly Republicans stating our commitment to work together on key issues including:

  • income tax reduction
  • pre-existing condition insurance coverage
  • support for K-12 education
  • infrastructure investment

and more. I encourage you to read it at the link below.
