Inauguration Day!
On January 7th, I was proud to take the oath of office and be sworn in to represent the 3rd Assembly District in the 104th Wisconsin Legislature. I am blessed and thankful for the opportunity to represent you, my friends and neighbors, again in Madison. I am committed to making life in the 3rd Assembly District, and our great state, better.
This session I will sit on the following seven committees:
Committee on Education
Committee on Environment
Committee on Forestry, Parks and Outdoor Recreation
Committee on Insurance
Committee on International Affairs and Commerce
Committee on Judiciary
Committee on Sporting Heritage
I will also serve as Chairman of theCommittee on Campaigns and Elections.

Common Ground With the Governor
Also on January 7th, Tony Evers was sworn in as Wisconsin’s 46thGovernor. Although Governor Evers and I are from different parties and do not share many of the same views, I am optimistic about our ability to work together to better the lives of all Wisconsinites. I also signed onto a letter to Governor Evers from Assembly Republicans stating our commitment to work together on key issues including:
income tax reduction
pre-existing condition insurance coverage
support for K-12 education
infrastructure investment

Spring Turkey Hunt
Over 135,000 turkey harvest authorizations have been issued for the 2019 spring turkey hunt. Bonus harvest authorizations will go on sale March 18th. This year, the youth turkey hunt takes place April 13-14. For more information on turkey hunting in Wisconsin, search keyword “turkey” on the Department’swebsite.
