Welcome to the website for the Speaker’s Task Force on Racial Disparities. Here you can stay up to date on the committee’s activities and progress, as well as submit your thoughts regarding racial disparities in our state.

The Speaker’s Task Force on Racial Disparities was created with the purpose of focusing on racial disparities, educational opportunities, public safety, and police policies and standards throughout Wisconsin. Our goal is to bring together a diverse group of voices from around the state that, together, can find potential solutions, changes, and improvements that help create a more equitable state for everyone.

Our members have been divided into two subcommittees to better address the goals of the task force. They are the Law Enforcement Policies and Standards subcommittee and the Education and Workforce Development subcommittee. Between these two groups, we believe we can make positive headway on racial disparities in our state.

We look forward to facilitating collaborative, bipartisan discussions that lead to meaningful change. Please feel free to contact either of our offices with any questions or comments. We look forward to hearing from you.
