The Senate will be in session Wednesday, January 21. The Assembly will be in session Tuesday, January 20.
Governor Tommy Thompson will deliver his State of the State Address to a joint legislative session January 20 at 6 p.m. Real Audio® Internet coverage will be available.
Presentations of Senate and Assembly audio debate will be available on the Internet beginning with the new floorperiod. You will need a soundcard and the Real Audio Player® program to listen to debate.
Republican Joan Wade Spillner of Montello won the special election to fill the vacancy created in the 42nd Assembly District by the resignation of Ben Brancel (R-Endeavor).
Elections for the 28th Senate District seat being vacated by Sen. Lynn Adelman (D-Waterford), and the 82nd Assembly District seat, being vacated by Rep. James Rutkowski (D-Greenfield) will be held concurrently with the spring primary on February 17 and the general election on April 7.
The Revisor of Statutes Bureau has put the Natural Resources portion of the Wisconsin Administrative code on the Internet. Other parts of the code will be added as they are transformed into electronic format.
The 1997-1998 Wisconsin Blue Book is now available on the Internet.
