Protecting and creating jobs is our number one priority. We believe jobs are saved and created by cutting costs and regulations on private-sector employers and giving them incentives to stay or expand in Wisconsin.

We believe tax cuts, targeted tax credits, and less government interference encourage economic growth and job creation. We support reforming our legal system to allow businesses to operate without spending millions of dollars on frivolous litigation.

We believe raising taxes and punishing business for success is the wrong way to turn our
economy around. We do not view businesses as a bottomless source of government revenue.

Tax increases and out-of-control state spending are making our state less competitive in a national and global marketplace.

Senate Republicans have one key question for EVERY piece of legislation they vote on or propose: “Will it help grow jobs?”

We are focused on a balanced budget that is fiscally sustainable and strategic. A balanced budget is not only constitutional, but it shows job creators and investors that we are serious about reforming our state’s finances and creating an environment conducive to economic growth.

Wisconsin is facing some deep challenges, but we have an incredible opportunity to really reform the way our state does business. Republicans have made historic progress already this session on jobs, and we’re going to keep working to reform this broken system – the future of our state depends on it.
