Background:
The Senate Democrats included a change to the definition of agriculture land that would qualify for the use value assessment by excluding any land platted or zoned for residential, commercial or industrial use.

Outcome:
This proposal was removed from the final version of the budget, so no changes were made to the use value assessment.
