Capitol Tours and Flags
Wisconsin's State Capitol lies on an isthmus
bordered by Lake Monona to the east and Lake
Mendota to the west. This majestic granite
structure, Wisconsin's third Capitol building,
may be toured year round.
Tours
depart from the ground floor Information Desk
Monday through Saturday at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 am
and 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 pm; and Sundays at 1:00,
2:00, 3:00 pm.
A 4:00 pm
tour is offered Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The sixth
floor museum and observation deck is also open
during the summer months.
Groups of
ten or more should call (608) 266-0382 to make a
reservation. Or you may book your tour online
here.
Our
office is happy to assist school groups in
reserving lunch space after they have completed

Flags
US flags
and Wisconsin flags are available for purchase.
Both flags are made of durable nylon and are 3
by 5 feet.

would like to have your flag flown atop the
Capitol, at no extra charge, please let us know
when you contact our office. We will send you a
certificate along with your flag.

Citations
It’s a
pleasure to recognize the outstanding
accomplishments of those in our community with a
Legislative Citation. My office is happy to
develop a citation to recognize special
accomplishments, retirements, scouting awards,
outstanding community service, milestone wedding
anniversaries and birthdays, or even a winning
team.
