Biography
 
State Senator Mary Lazich represents Senate District 28, including portions of Milwaukee, Racine, Walworth and Waukesha counties. Mary has served the state Senate since 1998.
 
Senator Lazich is Chair of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Elections, Co-Chair of the Joint Legislative Council, and serves on the Committee on Public Health, Human Services and Revenue, the Committee on Labor, Public Safety and Urban Affairs, and the Joint Legislative Audit Committee.
 
Prior to serving in the legislature, Mary served as a Waukesha County Board Supervisor and a New Berlin City Council Member.
 
Throughout Mary’s time serving in elected office, she’s earned recognition from numerous taxpayer, business, and pro-life organizations.
