| Superior |
 | The Superior High School Spartans Football Team, along with Coach DeMeyer, were recognized by Senator Jauch, Governor Doyle and others for a significant act of sportsmanship in a recent game. The team collectively choose to allow a special needs student from Menomonie High School score a 66 yard touchdown in the final seconds of a game. They then joined the student and the other team in a celebration of the score, proving that the coaches have imbued the Spartans with a true understanding of the honor and virtue that team sports can offer. Governor Doyle declared October 1st, 2010 as Superior Spartans High School Football Team Day in recognition of their acts.

| Marshfield Rice Lake Dental Clinic |
 | Senator Jauch joined Congressman Dave Obey and others for the grand opening of the Marshfield Dental Clinic in Rice Lake. The facility is expected to treat around 5,000 patients per year and will be geared towards serving those with low incomes, who might otherwise go without dental care. The construction and staffing of the facility has the added benefit of producing quality jobs for local families.

| Totogatic Wild River Stewardship |
 | Senator Jauch joined Gov. Doyle for the announcement of the Totogatic Wild River Stewardship designation. The Totogatic River joined four other state rivers in the program, which is designed to protect rivers from development and preserve them for future generations to enjoy. The free flowing river will also be used to draw out-of-state visitors in an effort to bolster Wisconsin's tourism industry. Senator Jauch and Representative Milroy authored the legislation that led to the permanent protection of the Totogatic River.

| Captain Terry Nesvold |
 | Senator Jauch helped honor Captain Terry Nesvold, after the American Jail Association named him the Correctional Administrator of the Year. Cpt. Nesvold was recognized as an innovator in both jail efficiency and staff training. His programs are credited with building staff morale and cutting costs, while not impairing the Burnett County Jail's safety.

 | Senator Jauch posed with UW-Superior alum Melissa Crow, current student Jenny Schlender, and UW-Superior alums Reggie Cadotte and Jason Schlender. All are tribal members of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Ojibwe (located near Hayward, WI).
