Wisconsin Tourism Revenues Continue to Climb
Recently released figures from Wisconsin’s Department of Tourism indicate that tourism spending increased last year by 4.3% statewide to $17.5 billion. This marks the fourth consecutive year of growth in Wisconsin’s essential tourism industry, which supported one in thirteen jobs throughout the state last year and generated $2.4 billion in local, state, and federal tax revenues combined. St. Croix County experienced a particularly sharp 8.5% increase in tourism spending last year.
