Wisconsin Observes Tornado Awareness Week
Ready Wisconsin and the National Weather Service have teamed up to help you and your family prepare for the upcoming severe weather season. Wisconsin averages 23 tornados per year with the peak season lasting from April to August. As part of this observance, a statewide tornado drill will be conducted on Thursday, April 19th with a Mock Tornado Watch to be issued at 1:00 PM and a Mock Tornado Warning to be issued at 1:45PM.
