The Governor’s office released a website this week that will document the results from the Administration’s enacted reforms. The information is collected from media reports and the Legislative Fiscal Bureau’s estimates on pension savings. To date, local governments have saved over $450 million due to the reforms passed so far this session.
The savings go beyond employee pension and health care contributions and factor in the ability to design plan changes and shop around for better rates.
The website will be updated as more data and results are reported.
