Wear Blue in Honor of Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month
Governor Scott Walker declared April Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month.  Wisconsinites are encouraged to wear blue to work tomorrow, Thursday, April 18, to promote awareness of child abuse prevention.
Blue is the commemorative color for national child abuse prevention and awareness.  Throughout the country, states and local agencies are hosting events featuring the color blue or using blue pinwheels, a symbol for child abuse prevention, to bring visual awareness to this important issue affecting children and families.
