University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF) was recognized earlier this month as one of the “2014 Best in the Midwest" by the Princeton Review. The Princeton Review released their annual list of best colleges by region, and UWRF made the list in the “Best in the Midwest” category along with three other University of Wisconsin System institutions, including UW-Eau Claire, Madison, and Milwaukee.
The Princeton Review is an educational service known around the nation for its prep courses, tutoring, and other resources for students. Robert Franek from the Princeton Review stated, “we chose it and the other terrific institutions we name as ‘region best’ colleges mainly for their excellent academic programs.”
The Princeton Review compiled their list based on data from the schools, opinions from students and staff, plus college counselors and advisors input. There are approximately 2,500 four-year universities in the nation and 155 four-year colleges were selected from the Midwest for the list.
Congratulations to the professors, staff and administrators on receiving this recognition!
