The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) still has openings for manufacturers to participate in the Profitable Sustainability Initiative (PSI). The program is designed to assist small to midsized manufacturers develop sustainable practices to help increase the manufacturers’ productivity, competitiveness, and profitability.
Manufacturing is a key industry throughout the state, and Wisconsin has been a leader nationwide in sustainable manufacturing. PSI helps manufacturers work with energy specialists, lean and finance experts, environmental consultants, and professionals skilled in logistics to implement efficiencies in the participant’s business plan.
