New Law Expands Use of Crossbow for Hunting Season
A new law relating to the use of crossbows for hunting, 2011 Wisconsin Act 252,  will go into effect this fall to allow resident, non-resident and youth hunters to have a choice to use either a crossbow, a bow and arrow or a firearm during an open firearm hunting season.  For open bowhunting seasons, current law is maintained that only hunters that are at least 65 years old or possess a disabled hunting permit may use a crossbow.  2011 Act 252 will expand opportunities for hunters of all ages this fall.
