Clean Sweep events are great opportunities for residents to properly dispose of hazardous household and agricultural chemicals or prescription drugs, keeping them out of the trash and helping protect our environment. The Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has a complete listing of all of the Clean Sweep events and dates throughout the state, but it is highly recommended to double check with each county’s event coordinator to confirm Clean Sweep dates and locations.
The St. Croix County Clean Sweep will take place on May 15th and 16th at the Town of Hudson Highway Shop, 666 E Hwy 12, Hudson. Businesses can drop off their waste on Friday morning (9am-noon) by making an appointment and completing a preregistration form. Households can stop by Friday afternoon (1pm-5pm) and Saturday morning (9am-1pm) without an appointment or preregistration. Visit DATCP’s website to find out more about the Clean Sweep program.
