Harsdorf Statement on Right to Work Passage
“Over the past few months I have appreciated the opportunity to visit with individuals and groups on both sides of Right to Work legislation.  This bill seeks to provide workers with the choice on whether to be a union member.  Today I voted for this legislation due to my belief that workers should not be required to join a union in order to be hired or to keep a job.”
“In addition to providing workers with a choice on belonging to a union, tonight’s vote is another step in improving Wisconsin’s business climate and opening the door to further investment and jobs.  As other states in our region have moved to adopt Right to Work and made their states more competitive in attracting growth, it is vital that Wisconsin continues the progress we have made in the last four years.”
