Encouraging Citizen Involvement in State Government
The Governor’s administration offers multiple ways that Wisconsinites can have an active role in their state government. There are over two-hundred professional boards, commissions, councils and taskforces that allow state residents to be involved in policy making, advisory roles, and advocacy efforts. These boards, commissions, councils and taskforces provide a wide variety of topics for citizens to choose from ranging from the Council on Autism to the Board of Veterans Affairs. I encourage you to get involved by applying for open positions of interest to you. For more information on available openings or to see a full list of the boards, please visit www.walker.wi.gov/Serve-Wisconsin.
