Wisconsin’s Farm Technology Days will be held in Portage County this year on August 12-14 near Stevens Point. This family-friendly event celebrates Wisconsin agriculture with over 600 commercial exhibitors offering a wide variety of farm and educational demonstrations, entertainment activities, and live performances. During the event, there will be four areas for farmers and consumers to discuss current issues with the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. These include the Progress Pavilion (2012 Census of Agriculture and animal health information), the Applied Technology Center (business services), the Family Living Tent (consumer tips), and the Conservation Tent (pesticide and fertilizer application). Be sure to take the whole family out to enjoy this year’s Farm Technology Days!
