On Tuesday, July 16, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) invites food and agricultural companies to attend an Export Education Seminar. Beginning and experienced exporters can benefit from the seminar and be part of Wisconsin’s growing agricultural exports.
In 2012, Wisconsin exported over $2.9 billion in agricultural products to 149 countries, a record value for the state. Wisconsin ranked 13th in the nation in agricultural exports last year.
Topics that will be covered at the seminar include:
● Developing export readiness skills,
● Export pricing and quoting,
● Export documentation,
● Navigating free trade agreement,
● Finding buyers for your products, and
● Accessing resources to trade internationally.
The seminar is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, University Center, 500 Wild Rose Avenue, River Falls.
