Time to Get On the Raw Milk Freedom Train
Today Glenn Grothman (R-West Bend) thanked the hundreds of people who contacted him from all over the state who want to be assured that they will be able to buy raw milk and continue to provide for their families’ health.
“Be it asthma, autism, obesity, arthritis, or stomach disorders, people have found relief thanks to raw milk. Frequently, these people begin to drink raw milk after medical professionals such as doctors, chiropractors, nutritionists, and nurses recommended they try raw milk to solve health problems,” said Senator Grothman. “They found their illness went away using raw milk instead of conventional methods.”
Grothman stated, “In California, raw milk is sold on grocery store shelves and in Europe it is sold in vending machines. It’s a travesty that people in Wisconsin, the Dairy State, have to feel like they are breaking the law to get something their medical professional has prescribed for them and has made them well.”
“I have found supporters of raw milk are very well read and have thoroughly researched the subject,” said Grothman. “I hope that Governor Doyle one more time stands up for the little guy and shows compassion to people whose health has been helped by raw milk. I hope he allows people the freedom to decide what to drink.”
Grothman vowed, “If Governor Doyle signs the bill, I will purchase nothing but raw milk for the next year and look forward to reporting back to the legislature.”
