MADISON – On Monday, State Senator Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) issued the following statement regarding the Senate’s approval of an extension for unemployment benefits:
“I am pleased as many as 40,000 unemployed workers in Wisconsin will get the help they need while they continue to look for work. Wisconsin is open for business again. While Wisconsin is adding jobs, we know more must be done to get our state back on track from the anti-business policies of the past.”
Senator Darling represents portions of Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha Counties.
