Senator Darling Statement on Unemployment Insurance Extension Legislation
MADISON – On Tuesday, State Senator Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) issued the following statement regarding possible extension of unemployment benefits:

“Recently, the non-partisan Unemployment Insurance Advisory Council voted unanimously to work with the state Senate and Assembly to craft legislation to address extending unemployment benefits an additional 13 weeks.  I support an extension and will work with my colleagues to pass the measure as soon as possible.”  

  

Senator Darling represents portions of Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha Counties.
