  Domestic Violence Service Award
Sen. Tim Cullen presents Janesville Police Chief David Moore the Governor’s Council on Domestic Abuse Justice Award at a ceremony in the State Capitol on Oct. 12, 2011.  The Janesville Police Department received the award for its initiative to have a uniformed police officer make a follow-up contact with each victim of domestic violence within 72 hours after the original incident, to connect the victim with community resources, and to reduce incidents of domestic violence.

Sen.
