David Brickman of Janesville shot “Conglomerate Sandstone” while hiking in a desert canyon in California.

David Brickman of Janesville shot this photograph, “Canyon de Chelly,” during a three-day camping trip in Canyon de Chelly and Canyon del Muerto in Arizona.  He went with a small group of photographers who were guided by Navajo Indians.

James Richter’s painting, “East Meets West,” depicts a landmark in Janesville, the Cozy Inn restaurant on West Milwaukee Street. The restaurant bills itself as the oldest established Oriental restaurant in Wisconsin.

The Janesville Art League has lent Sen. Tim Cullen four new pieces of art, including this painting titled “twilights last gleaming” by James Richter of Janesville.  The flat hangs on the porch of Mr. Richter’s home.
